I
know and love Alameda. I am a loyal native of this beautiful Island
situated in the San Francisco Bay. It was only natural that when I
married my wife that we would make Alameda our home - both of our
grandparents and parents lived in Alameda. My wife, Wendy (Lombardi),
and I both graduated from Encinal High School and our three children
graduated from Alameda High School.
My travels lead me to
working not just in Alameda but the entire surrounding Bay Area. I have
enjoyed a fantastic career in professional football and equally
successful career in sales and marketing for the past 33 years. The
most natural move in the world for me was to pursue a career in real
estate which combines my love for Alameda and my skills in sales and
marketing.
I am an all around guy. I like to conduct my
business with old world charm and "back-to-the basics" work ethics in
combination with today's Real Estate technology. I pride myself on
working with a wide range of clientele from all walks of life.
To
be successful in sales and marketing you must know your clients and
spend time learning their likes and dislikes. Give me the opportunity
to work with you in the very near future.
Sincerely,
Mario Mariani
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE – Mario Mariani
When Mario Mariani began buying and selling real estate in the early
70s, he did not consider where this avocation would lead him. It took
an operation and a lengthy recuperation to convince him, the time was
right to make a career change. Although he had a record he could be
proud of as Regional Vice President of Marketing for a large business
association, he felt the call to work directly with consumers.
He investigated many possibilities, but the idea of
becoming a Realtor seemed to be the correct choice. Mariani took his
experience as a real estate investor and his marketing expertise to
Gallagher & Lindsey Realtors in Alameda. As a Realtor and a Sales
Associate for the company, he is accomplishing his goals.
He was born and raised in Alameda. A football
scholarship beckoned him to another state. He attended the University
of New Mexico, but returned to his California home in the late
seventies. Mariani and his wife Wendy raised three children in his
hometown. Gina, M.J. and Natalie are adults with their own careers and
a dad who is proud of them all.
His grandparents came to Alameda
from Luca in Italy. With a good deal of pride, he mentions that the
Mariani family boasts five generations in the USA, California and the
Island City of Alameda.
He is a member of the National
Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors.
Locally, he holds membership in both the Oakland and Alameda
Associations of Realtors. Mariani has received company awards for sales
performance.
In the community he is a member of the Chamber of
Commerce. He works with the Encinal High School Alumni Association and
the Special Olympics. Through a newly formed committee, Mariani will
help create a sports day fundraiser for Special Olympics. He is also a
member of the Executive Board of the American Trucking Association.
As if that isn’t enough, he is an outdoorsman with
an interest in conservation. He works with and promotes the California
Water Fowl Association. Mariani is one of the first three inductees
into Alameda’s Encinal High School Sports Hall of Fame.
What does he offer that is unique? A marketing plan
called “Stress Free Real Estate”. When asked he comments, “Why am I
different? I offer buyers secondary financing for down payment and
closing costs. For sellers, I help them ready their home for sale and
place those costs in escrow, nothing out of pocket to worry about.”
Mariani says he has never regretted his decision.
Turning an avocation into his vocation is a choice that gives him the
opportunity to do something he loves.
Now he helps others to buy and sell real estate and realize their goal of homeownership.
